Tonbridge music club family concert
St peter and st paul Parish Church
Church Lane
Tonbridge TN9 1DA

A musical world tour …. You’ll hear talking drums, gourd xylophones and a steel pan. You’ll get to take part in pieces that help to show the timelines of music across the world as the rhythms of Africa were carried across the Atlantic to South America. You’ll also get to see and hear some of the more weird and wonderful instruments that Ensemble Bash have in their cellars. Have you ever wondered what a donkey’s jawbone sounds like? Or a conch shell? How exactly do you make the noise of a lion roaring? If you’ve got any energy left, get ready to raise the roof for Metropolis, a piece in which the future of the human race rests in your hands …
