We recently did a series of workshops and mini concerts at the beautiful old Wolford Mill at Wimborne in Dorset. Chris and Stephen performed eight mini concerts at Beaucroft Special School in Wimborne. These were very ‘hands on’ - allowing the children to touch the instruments whilst we told them stories about their origins and then showed them how to play them. Meanwhile Richard and Catherine were putting together a participatory piece involving 150 children from the nearby Allenbourn School. This culminated the next day in a huge performance involving all of the children - along with a short special performance by us. Here’s some photos of the day.
